We can take that up a notch through Design Tokens as JSON, but how can we do that from Figma? Using Figma Tokensįigma Tokens is a plugin by Jan Six that addresses how Design Tokens can be best managed in Figma. In most cases these Styles are documented somewhere and the dev team would translate them to CSS variables and possibly some mixins. In some projects made in Figma, some may have probably set some “Design Tokens" in the form Color Styles, Text Styles, and Effects Styles, which are styles that you can use for your components. But how do we exactly make Design Tokens from Figma? Same can be done with backgrounds: color-background-navbar, color-background-input, etc. A color-text-default token says that this is the default text color. In these examples, it’s very descriptive and you’ll immediately know where it’s used for: a color-text-button-error is the color of the text for a button with a state of error. They should be as descriptive as possible. This type of token is more specific and it’s name should reflect that. You may often see this now in modern web/app development frameworks and systems like in TailwindCSS, Material Design, Lightning Design System etc.Ĭontext Tokens however are entirely different. What happens if you suddenly have something lighter than your lighter-gray? Through a numeric scale naming convention, we can provide a range of colors from lightest to darkest without having to think so much about what name it should have. This avoids having to name Tokens in light-gray, lighter-gray, dark-gray etc. Discuss with your dev team what’s the best naming convention that works with your project.įor Core Tokens, I would usually go for a numeric scale naming convention. Initially, the team needs to standardize a naming convention for their tokens. Ideally, Context Tokens are what you apply to actual UI Components, not Core Tokens.īoth Token types have a strict naming convention It should communicate where the token it’s supposed to be used like color-background-navbar. A gray-1000 token can probably be used for texts, backgrounds, borders, and more, but I wouldn’t recommend using them for specific components.Ĭontext Tokens on the other hand references from Core Tokens and specifically made for it’s use case like a background or border colors of a component, text color of a header or paragraph, etc. Though they can be used as is, it doesn’t tell us where exactly it can used. These types come in different names, but I went with these names since they make sense within the projects I'm working on.Ĭore Tokens are like your base variables that takes a defined value, like gray-1000. To create Design Tokens in general, we need to understand what are Core Tokens and Context Tokens. This means that Design Tokens can be used as referenced for CSS Variables and can also be used in Android, IOS, CSS-in-JS, and wherever JSON is readable or convertible. It’s a separate file (JSON or YAML) that is agnostic and can be read by any codebase. … and more! So aren’t they just CSS variables? What you declare as a design token will depend how granular you want the tokens to be, which can vary from one project to another. As a developer, Instead of thinking what shade of gray you need for a text, you can just refer to a specific context token like color-text-header or color-text-body.

Remember that if paying monthly, you can enter a fraction of a year by entering a value like =10+5/12 (for 10 years and 5 months). The second approach is to enter the current mortgage balance and adjust the term length until the PI payment matches what you are currently paying. Water the soil and feed plants regularly to keep them growing well – healthy plants can better resist pests and diseases. Early blight can also be caused by Alternaria tomatophila, which is more virulent on stems and leaves of tomato plants than Alternaria solani. Also, in the case of early blight, minimizing leaf-to-soil contact can prevent disease spread. There are many chemical products on the market that claim to be effective in treating. Look for disease-free seeds and only save seed from disease-free plants. There is currently no tomato blight treatment that is 100 effective. Do not reuse trays following outbreak of bacterial disease. There are several steps you can take to prevent late blight from taking hold in your garden. Destroy plants after harvest as the disease can spread to seeds.Įarly blight often occurs during humid weather and is most likely to attack plants under stress. The new version is a replica of the Orbitron, Machines Volantes at Disneyland Paris. The new form of the attraction opened one year later as Astro Orbitor at Disneyland. This version remained open until 1997 when it closed for renovations with the rest of Tomorrowland. The focal point of this version was its replica Saturn V/ NASA-themed rocket in the center. This version was located on top of the new PeopleMover platform and was accessible from ground level via an elevator. The attraction returned in August 1967 as the Rocket Jets. The name lasted until September 1966, when the attraction was closed to make room for the newly renovated Tomorrowland. After this dispute, the name was changed to Tomorrowland Jets. The name Astro Jets was changed in 1964 when United Airlines, as a new park sponsor (sponsoring " The Enchanted Tiki Room"), contended the name was free advertising for American Airlines' coast-to-coast Astrojet service. The attraction stood between the Submarine Voyage and Rocket to the Moon. The "jets" made a 50-foot circle around a large red-checkered rocket and guests were able to climb upwards of 36 feet in their ride vehicles from the ground level they were boarded at. The attraction was made by Klaus Company Bavaria and similar to several versions found in traveling carnivals. Send us a message or give us a call today to get started on your next trip! The lines can build up a bit as a result. The Orbiter has a fairly low capacity with only two seats per rocket and only twelve on the ride. Then again, others might not even want to get in the line. Large planets and other astral forms ring the rockets to provide some extra thrills as you zip in circles. The ride itself is a series of twelve colorful rockets rotating around a central spoke. The Astro Orbiter stands today much the same as it was in 1994. The ride was renamed the Astro Orbiter and given a big time makeover. Full grown, chimps are 4-5 feet tall and can weigh from 70-120 pounds.Watch how the chimps build nests in sanctuary. At night, chimpanzees build sleeping nests in trees using carefully-selected branches and leaves. Some groups of chimpanzees hunt and eat colobus monkeys and other small mammals. They also eat leaves, nuts, seeds, birds’ eggs, and insects. Chimpanzees are frugivores, which means their main food staple is fruit.Baby chimpanzees can be identified by their small size and a tuft of white hair on their backside that disappears when they reach adolescence.Chimpanzees can live up to 45 years in the wild and up to 60 years in captivity. At one time, the majority of these chimpanzees lived in laboratories, but today there are more chimpanzees living in sanctuaries than any other captive setting! The baby chimpanzee doesn’t cry like human infants. According to the Project ChimpCare census, there are approximately 2,000 chimpanzees in the United States.Scientists estimate there are between 170,000 and 300,000 chimpanzees currently living in the wild. Chimpanzees are endangered due to habitat loss and hunting.Their current range spans 21 African countries. Chimpanzees are endemic to the forests and savannahs of equatorial Africa. Chimpanzees are more closely related to humans than they are to gorillas! Chimpanzees are a highly adaptable species they live in a variety of habitats, including dry savanna, evergreen rainforest, mountainous forests, swamp. However, a baby chimpanzee is born with a cute pink face and white hair tuft on their backside that disappears with age. Chimpanzees and humans share approximately 95% of their DNA old studies reported a 98% match but a study in 2002 showed that a 5% divergence is more accurate.Chimpanzees are “great apes.” The other great apes are bonobos, gorillas, orangutans, and humans. |
